Rock School runs on a Saturday afternoon
Blackpool Music School provides opportunities to socialise and develop musical skills in group sessions of one hour learning and The Rock Star project has been put in place to hopefully, ignite young teenagers’ interest in music. The students can choose from keyboard, drums, guitar and even vocals. The project runs on a Saturday afternoon for approximately one hour and is open to all teenagers.
This music session aims to be a fun event, and at the end of the course the group will come together to give a live music performance, encompassing all the skills they have developed, whilst attending the school. Teenagers of all abilities are welcome to apply, so even if you have never picked up a guitar or held a drumstick, or sung in front of an audience, but you are serious about learning an instrument or learning to sing, then get in touch. We always get an enthusiastic response to this project and places are on a first-come, first-served basis. So to ensure you can secure a place, please contact us at your earliest convenience.
